Get to Know NAC Faculty Member Amy McGregor-Radin!

New Art Center is pleased to shine a spotlight on a member of our faculty family, exceptional printmaker Amy McGregor-Radin.

AMY MCGREGOR-RADIN is a Boston-based artist known for practicing the white line woodcut method of printmaking – a style originated in Provincetown, MA over a century ago. A graduate of Michigan State University and Boston University, Radin has been creating prints in the Provincetown style since 2002. This method involves incising wood with a design, hand-painting each shape on the board, then transferring the color to paper with pressure.

Five of her prints are included in the permanent collection at the Boston Athenaeum. Radin regularly participates in exhibitions throughout New England. You can view Amy’s work at the Art League of Rhode Island, as part of “Boats, Surf and Beaches,” through May 27 and in “Painted Shapes: Contemporary White Line Woodcuts” at Art Complex Museum in Duxbury, MA May 21 through August 13.
