Art Education

CIT Vacation Program

This is a training program for teens who are interested in developing leadership skills working with younger kids with a focus on the visual arts. Under the mentorship of experienced New Art Center staff and faculty, CITs will have the opportunity to work directly with young children during art classes. If you are interested in becoming a future counselor, and if you like the visual arts, this is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and important life skills while you still get to make art. Must bring daily lunch. CITs do not leave the building during
lunchtime. LIMITED SPACE.

For students entering grades 7-10

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Tuition: $200 per week
Week 2 Holiday Rate: $160

Deposits:

• A non-refundable deposit of $100 per week regististration must accompany each application, though full payment may also be made
• For withdrawals prior to May 1, 2013, tuition will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit
• After May 1, 2013, tuition may be credited only to future classes and programs at the New Art Center, less the non-refundable deposit
• After May 1, 2013, all tuition must be paid in full upon registration
