About the Work: Meditations is a series that began as an exercise to explore line and composition without the burdens imposed by scale, color, and abundant materials, which resulted in an entirely separate and satisfying new body of work. By limiting the "input," the experience became meditative, calming the creative mind and allowing Shishko to create a new wind of work. This series will be in on view in the NAC display case through our winter term (January 3 - March 25). Artworks are available for sale (please send inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org).
