Dates: Oct 31
Details: Saturday, 1 Session
Times: 11:00AM – 1:30PM
Notes:

Make beautiful blue cyanotype prints on fabric with this fun and easy workshop for adults and kids grades 5 and up! Cyanotypes, otherwise known as blueprints, are one of the earliest forms of photography. By laying 2-D objects on top of chemically treated material, you’ll create a deep blue print with bright, ghost-white silhouettes. Bring your own fall botanicals, book pages, jewelry, tea, photographic film negatives, or anything else you want to try! All other materials will be supplied by the New Art Center. At the end of the workshop, we’ll learn how to mount your fabric print in an embroidery hoop so that you can take it home and hang it!
