In this 4-week parent-child workshop, students will create beautiful art using fabric, fibers, and yarn while exploring the science and technology behind the crafts. Learn the biology of different natural fibers, the chemistry involved in dying fabrics, how to code weaving and knitting patterns, and much more. Registration price is for one parent plus child.

In the event of a COVID-related building closure, in-person classes will continue with live online learning (Zoom). In the case of equipment-intensive courses, the curriculum may be adjusted slightly. For example, all ceramics classes will continue with a handbuilding focus.

Please Note: Online registration for classes that begin on Monday or Saturday close the Friday before at 12PM. Online registration for classes that begin on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday close on the day before at 12PM.
