Dates: 7/6 – 8/10
Details: Tuesdays, 6 Sessions
Times: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Enjoy advancing your classic techniques of expressive watercolor painting using images of Wild New England. Master perspective while painting historic lighthouses at cliff edges, or a Revolutionary War tavern resounding with musket fire. Evoke foggy whaling ships with tone control. Deploy dancing brushwork for birch forests and water blooms for lichen-laden stonewalls. Sponge on sea foam for breaking waves crashing in Acadia, and use a battered housepainter’s brush or old toothbrush for detailing wrack lines, beach pebbles and the lavender weathered wood fencing at Crane’s Beach. Watercolor experience required.
