Bring your ideas to life with Blender, a free do-it-all digital 3D program! Working with concept artist and professional creature designer Alex Alderete, students will explore the user interface and learn how to navigate and work with 3D objects in space. Complete beginners will create a simple, interesting 3D character and have the basic skills to create personal characters, creatures and mech ideas. Required: the latest version of Blender (from Blender.org), and a digital drawing tablet and pen to use with their computer, instead of a mouse.
