Show the special maternal figure in your life how much you care with a gift of blossoms and art appreciation!  

A beautiful spring bouquet from Centre Pieces Design Flower Shop in Newtonville will be delivered to the recipient’s door on Mother’s Day (May 9th), and a pre-recorded talk from art historian and educator Brendan Sullivan will be sent via e-mail. Brendan will explore depictions of motherhood and the maternal experience through a selection of artwork. 

Register by May 3 and celebrate the ones you love!

Have a mom not in the Greater Boston Area? For just give the art history lecture for the mother figure in your life.

A portion of the cost will help to support the New Art Center and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.

In the event of a COVID-related building closure, in-person classes will continue with live online learning (Zoom). In the case of equipment-intensive courses, the curriculum may be adjusted slightly. For example, all ceramics classes will continue with a handbuilding focus.

Please Note: Online registration for classes that begin on Monday or Saturday close the Friday before at 12PM. Online registration for classes that begin on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday close on the day before at 12PM. Adult Live Online Learning (Zoom) Classes: The “Student’s Email” you provide during registration will be emailed the Zoom link and login information one hour before the class begins.

Children/Teen Live Online Learning (Zoom) Classes: The email you provide at checkout will be emailed the Zoom link and login information one hour before the class begins.
