What makes a painting “glow?” What is the glowing quality that appears in the work of many master painters? How does an artist make this happen? To communicate a feeling of believable light in a painting, and to make a painting glow, artists must make certain decisions early in the painting process. This class includes a comprehensive exploration of the “glow factor.” Topics will include texture, transparency, color, and discussions about the creative process challenges. For intermediate and advanced painters. See website for materials list.
