Explore a unique method of developing a watercolor painting by using contact paper to create a template. Starting with a loose and playful watercolor wash, we will use misting and tilting techniques to allow the colors to mix on the paper. Then we will develop the paintings using contact paper to facilitate various lifting methods, and employ glazing techniques with emphasis on creative modeling and developing lost and found edges. A variety of lifting techniques useful for any watercolor painting will be demonstrated. See materials list on website.
