Using a combination of drawing and narrative techniques, students will create illustrations that tell a story to the viewer and demonstrate key components to storytelling. Students are encouraged to incorporate their own ideas into the work, including ideas about their identities, life experiences, or more abstract philosophies. Explore this growing art form in a fun, supportive classroom environment.

In the event of a COVID-related building closure, in-person classes will continue with live online learning (Zoom). In the case of equipment-intensive courses, the curriculum may be adjusted slightly. For example, all ceramics classes will continue with a handbuilding focus.

Please Note: Online registration for classes that begin on Monday or Saturday close the Friday before at 12PM. Online registration for classes that begin on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday close on the day before at 12PM. Adult Live Online Learning (Zoom) Classes: The “Student’s Email” you provide during registration will be emailed the Zoom link and login information one hour before the class begins.
