Are you looking for a unique gift for Valentine’s Day? Let us send your special someone a video Valentine serenade from award-winning actor and beloved New Art drama instructor, Danny Bolton along with a bottle of wine and chocolate pairing from Flora’s Wine Bar! Choose from 2015 Guerrieri Rizzardi Tachetto Bardolino Classico or 2017 Diego Conterno Nascetta, with chocolate.

Flora’s Wine Bar will deliver wine and chocolate to your Valentine’s door, and New Art will email a personalized message with a linked recording on Friday, February 12. Delivery is available for Newton residents only. If your Valentine lives outside of Newton, you may pick up the wine and chocolate from Flora’s Wine Bar for hand-delivery.

2015 Guerrieri Rizzardi Tachetto Bardolino Classico
Markedly different from other Bardolino reds, Tacchetto has been singled out through the years due to the unique quality of the fruit it delivers. A fragrant red with a noticable freshness to its darker fruit. No oak is used – this wine is all about the expression of the vineyard’s fruit.

2017 Diego Conterno Nascetta (Piedmont, IT)
Nascetta is the only real indigenous white grape vine from Langhe! Bright and brilliant, Nascetta has a very personal nature: the scents of white flowers and citrus and fruity aromas signal a wine with good structure and great freshness of flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Ideal for immediate consumption with fish or white meat, but also has excellent cellaring potential. Its longevity allows long aging in the bottle with interesting evolutions in flavor.

This wine fully expresses the characteristics of its indigenous landscape. The color is a brilliant bright yellow. The savory and minerally flavors on the palate are accompanied by a fine and elegant fragrance.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

Insufficient Enrollment: The New Art Center will make a full refund for any class cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.

Withdrawal: Up to 7 days before the first class, you may withdraw for a refund, less a $25 administrative fee per class. For any tuition payments paid by credit card your full convenience fees will be deducted from your refund. Withdrawals from classes, workshops, and events under $40 are eligible for course credit only, less a $10 fee or the full tuition amount can be donated to the New Art Center. Donors will receive an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes. Course credits are good for 1 year from the date of issue, after which time you will receive an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes.

Summer Camp Withdrawal: All withdrawals for our Summer Camp must be made by June 9 to receive a refund, less a $25 administrative fee per week. For any tuition payments paid by credit card, your full convenience fees will be deducted from your refund.

Student Absences: No refunds will be made for student absences including absences due to COVID or other sickness. We understand that students may have to miss class for a variety of reasons, but New Art decides whether or not to run a class before the term starts based on enrollment and sufficient tuition to cover our costs. Refunding students for individual absences makes it difficult to calculate a breakeven point for each class.

Faculty Absences: All efforts will be made to find a substitute for faculty absences. In the event that a class must be cancelled, students will be notified by email, which will be sent to the address provided during registration. One makeup class will be scheduled each term for a single absence by a faculty member. For multiple absences, a substitute faculty member will be assigned. There will be no refunds for faculty absences.

Scholarships: Limited scholarships are available according to need. Please apply here.
