In our Children’s Program and Preteen Program, students attend four classes daily in Visual Arts, Ceramics, Drama Activities and Sculpture/3D. Each student has the opportunity to learn and grow with friends and peers, while creating art and having fun! The New Art Center environment also gives children the opportunity to work with, and be inspired by our professional art instructors, who thrive on the enthusiasm of young artists. Each week, children gain a sense of accomplishment by creating and bringing home exciting projects inspired by our program themes!
Our Teen Day Program enable teens to gain new skills while further developing their interests and abilities in the visual arts. Our teen programs are small and highly individualized to give teens the knowledge, confidence and skills to create beautiful and intriguing projects. Working in Painting/Drawing, Sculpture/Mixed Media and Ceramics, teens will have a great time!
The CIT Program at the New Art Center offers teens a unique opportunity to focus on leadership within an arts organization. Counselors in Training (CIT) work under the guidance of Teacher Assistants (TA’s) and professional art instructors to learn about classroom management skills while building confidence working with young children.
