Dan Elias has been part of the art world in the Boston area for  many decades. Television host, gallery owner, print publisher, blacksmith, woodworker, theater founder, roadie, museum administrator, educator and general clean-up hitter for the arts, he has been on all sides of the equation. He has a degree from Tufts/SMFA in Fine Arts, concentration in Sculpture & Printmaking, and one from Harvard University in Museum Studies.

What brought you to NAC?
I came to the NAC because of its role as a bridge between an educated, engaged community and the leading edge of the art world. That function critically important to a healthy artistic and creative sector in the larger society and I’m happy to be at a place where it happens every day!
