Eliza Mecklenburg

Eliza Mecklenburg is a Boston-based, multimodal artist whose work explores the power of everyday objects, focusing on the way they shape our lives, routines, and a sense of self. She is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Art Education. Eliza loves to learn new techniques and media to use in her work from embroidery to code. This carries into her teaching where she always encourages students to experiment and take risks.

She has taught at the New Art Center since 2020.
