Josephine Coppinger

Josephine Coppinger is a recent graduate of Wheaton College with a BA in Visual Arts and Sociology. She has a versatile background in many artistic mediums, her favorites being ceramics and illustration. Josephine has taught a range of ages, from kindergarten to adult seniors. She has also worked as a studio assistant with other ceramic artists around the country in Asheville, New Orleans, and Boston. In her free time, Josephine likes to cook, bike in the city, and create art of her own.

She has taught at the New Art Center since 2020.

 

Today

In the event of a COVID-related building closure, in-person classes will continue with live online learning (Zoom). In the case of equipment-intensive courses, the curriculum may be adjusted slightly. For example, all ceramics classes will continue with a handbuilding focus.

Please Note: Online registration for classes that begin on Monday or Saturday close the Friday before at 12PM. Online registration for classes that begin on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday close on the day before at 12PM. Adult Live Online Learning (Zoom) Classes: The “Student’s Email” you provide during registration will be emailed the Zoom link and login information one hour before the class begins.

Children/TeenĀ Live Online Learning (Zoom) Classes: The email you provide at checkout will be emailed the Zoom link and login information one hour before the class begins.
