Instructor: Sayaka Rawizza
Sayaka Rawizza is a ceramic artist who draws inspiration from the natural world. Sayaka is originally from Japan. She received a BA in Psychology from Seishin University and a BA from Colby Sawyer College in Art. Additionally, she holds a MFA in Sculptural Ceramics from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
She has taught at the New Art Center since 2015.

In the event of a COVID-related building closure, in-person classes will continue with live online learning (Zoom). In the case of equipment-intensive courses, the curriculum may be adjusted slightly. For example, all ceramics classes will continue with a handbuilding focus.
Please Note: Online registration for classes that begin on Monday or Saturday close the Friday before at 12PM. Online registration for classes that begin on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday close on the day before at 12PM.
