Break free from embroidery patterns and begin to compose complex embroidery art using a variety of stitches, threads, and materials. Explore how to translate your vision into an embroidery design, work the entire surface of your fabric, and add exciting textures to your piece. Utilize metallic, silk, and cotton embroidery floss, machine sewing thread, beads, sequins, and other materials to elevate your textile art. This workshop is designed for students who are comfortable with making satin stitches, running stitches, and French knots. See website for materials list.
