We offer adult art classes (5+ meetings a semester) for all skill and experience levels in drawing, painting, ceramics, encaustic painting, and more.
Our adult classes offer in-depth, comprehensive lessons taught by experienced artists. Build and strengthen your understanding of materials, techniques, and concepts throughout the semester. Register early for fall, winter, or spring classes and receive an early registration discount!

We offer adult art workshops (1-4 meetings a semester) for all skill and experience levels in drawing, painting, ceramics, encaustic painting, and more.
Our workshops are short, focused art lessons that allow you to try a medium, technique, or subject matter. Learn from our faculty and visiting artists. Workshops are offered year-round throughout our winter, spring, summer, and fall semesters.

Live Online Adult Art Classes
Weekly online adult art classes at designated class times. New Art faculty conduct a real-time class through Zoom video meetings.
Explore a variety of studio classes (drawing, painting, ceramics, Photoshop, & more), artist demos, and art history lectures. All online classes have online in the name for you to easily see what is available.

Adult Art Class Levels
Before signing up for painting classes, we suggest that the beginning student take one drawing class or have equivalent experience, unless the description reads “no prior experience needed.”
Beginning – Best for students with no prior experience or who would like to review basic concepts and techniques for a particular discipline. These can be taken multiple times with different teachers.
Intermediate – Best for students who have taken 2 or more classes in the course’s medium or equivalent. Intermediate classes create an atmosphere where students can increase their knowledge of materials, improve technique, and deepen their understanding of art concepts, and art history.
Advanced – Advanced classes focus on artistic voice and vision, art styles, personal themes, and advanced techniques.
All levels – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced students welcome. No prior experience needed.
