The New Art Center Announces Art of the Possible: Vinfen’s Gateway Arts
at the New Art Corridor
Exhibition Dates, May 2 – June 2, 2024

Newtonville, MA – The New Art Center, a nonprofit community art education space, announces the opening of a new exhibition at its New Art Corridor Gallery, in partnership with Vinfen’s Gateway Arts.
In this new exhibition, entitled Art of the Possible: Vinfen’s Gateway Arts, twenty-eight Gateway Arts artists will display their work for the month of May. The New Art Center is proud to host this exhibition, as it is one in a series of exhibitions to celebrate Gateway Art’s 50th anniversary and to spotlight the essential role of creative expression and meaningful work in the lives of adults with disabilities.
“Celebrating artists from our beginning in 1973, through the years, to our newest members, this exhibition proudly displays the amazing talent and vision of Gateway Arts,” said Artistic Director of Gateway Arts, Bil Thibodeau.
An opening will be held on May 16, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm and is free and open to the public. All art work is for sale.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to be in partnership with Gateway Arts and we encourage you to check out this exhibition, which features a wide array of work from local artists,” said Lennon Hernandez Wolcott, Exhibition Coordinator for the New Art Center. The New Art Center has a connection to Gateway Arts through Beverly Bernson, an Advisory Board member for Gateway Arts and the founder of the New Art Center in 1977. Through her work, she has created opportunities for tens of thousands of arts enthusiasts in Greater Boston for almost 50 years.
The exhibition will remain open until June 2, 2024. The New Art Corridor is sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council, Village Bank, and Mark Development.
