New Art Center’s Art as Therapy program continues to grow and is now entering its fourth term this Fall.
The Art as Therapy program aims to give middle school students the skills and tools to express themselves creatively, connect with other students, and build the foundations for ego-building practices. Students in the program have said they benefited from the program, enjoying the art making as well as the connectedness of the class.
Parents/guardians who are interested in learning more about the program and speaking with the instructors are invited to an informational Zoom session on Thursday, September 14 at 7:oo PM. Art therapist Erin Palazzolo-Loparo and New Art Center’s Education Coordinator Sarah Moriarty will be talking about the program and answering questions for prospective students/families.
