Summer Art Camp
Circus week! Students have been making Koon inspired balloon animal art in 2D using soft chalk pastels and paint markers. They also created paper collage pop-up pages. In 3D, they are creating their own mini circuses full of bendy characters under a circus tent. For ceramics, students are making pinch pot clowns that are glazed and fired in the kiln as well as circus food totems out of air-dry clay. Lastly, students collaborated with their groups to come up with scripts for circus-inspired performances or modern adaptation of classic stories for their plays on Friday!
