Many thanks to the Valor Foundation for making this possible, as well as to the Rebecca Pomroy Foundation for helping sustain our Creative Connections (4th and 5th grade) and Art as Therapy for Middle School (6th-9th grade) groups, and to the Mass Cultural Council and our donors.
About the Program
This weekly expressive art therapy group provides a safe and responsive space for kids and teens to create, connect, and share in a variety of art modalities in a confidential community environment. Mindfulness and ego-building weekly art exercises allow students to access, express, and transform feelings and struggles into meaningful art forms.
We offer sessions for students in:
- Grades 4-5 (Tuesdays)
- Grades 6-8 (Mondays)
- Grades 9-12 (Tuesdays)
