The New Art Camp Experience

Students entering grades 1-6 will spend summer vacation immersed in the arts. New Art’s camp programs are designed for students interested in developing skills, creativity, and self-expression at any ability level. Each week is packed with possibilities, imagination, and fun as students explore 5 exciting activities each day: 2D, 3D, performing arts, clay, and STEAM. All materials are provided.

Weekly Schedule*: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM – $630/week

After Care*: Monday – Friday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – $120/week

* Week 2 is a 4-day week due to the July 4th holiday.

Extended Day Available

Can’t make the 4 PM pick up time? Have a teen who won’t be done until 5 PM? Add on our Extended Day program and bump back your pick up time! This option is great for parents with children in both the teen and children’s programs, those who drive a long way with traffic, or just can’t make it for 4 PM!

In this week, students will have opportunities to create their own games by coming up with their own rules, characters, and concepts. 4	7/13-7/17	Buildings and Cities	Buildings and Cities Explore architecture and urban design in this week where we will look at iconic cities from around the world. 5	7/20-7/24	Cartoons and Comics	Our most popular theme week returns for the fourth year! This week will allow students to explore and expand their imaginations, creating comics and narrative worlds. 6	7/27-7/31	Beach Party	Create art inspired by beach fun: rolling waves, shells and sandcastles, sailboats and summer games, picnics and ice cream. 7	8/03-8/07	Fabulous Food	This delicious week explores art inspired by the world of food. What does food teach us about our communities and culture? Things to Know

Participants must bring a lunch and two snacks each day.
For students’ and staff’s safety, no nuts or peanuts are allowed at New Art Center
Bring a water bottle! We have refilling stations to replenish water throughout the day.
Emergency form information is now collected during the registration process.
All materials provided; all levels welcome.
There will be supervised outdoor time in Washington Park and New Art’s grounds, weather permitting
Wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty!
Summer program – Register your child for the grade they will be entering in Fall 2026.
We offer an extended day option for our children’s summer camp for an additional cost.
