Instructor for Build Your High School Portfolio Summer Intensives
Who are you and what do you do at New Art?
Hello, my name is Seline and I am the Studio Manager here at the New Art Center, a teacher here as well, and also a working contemporary artist.
Tell us a bit about these two new classes:
In my two upcoming High School Portfolio classes, students will be growing and pushing themselves more creatively than ever before! Students will collectively be working on assignments independently to build a foundation of skills, techniques, and artist experience.
At any time during the class, students are encouraged to propose their own ideas and concepts that can be applicable and integrated into the current assignment they are working on. As the class goes on, students will be building a body of artwork that will be targeting their skills, techniques and achievements in art, and will be a great presentation and portfolio for any college, university, or any art programs. Be sure to come in ready to make art, get messy, and have fun.
