Students entering grades 1-7 spend summer vacation immersed in the arts. New Art’s programs are designed for students interested in developing skills, creativity, and self expression at any ability level. Each week will be packed with possibilities, imagination, and fun as students explore 5 exciting activities each day: 2D, 3D, performing arts, clay, and STEAM.

Sofie Johnson
Julia Barouxis
Hello, my name is Julia, and I am a ceramic artist based in Newtonville. I believe the beauty in working with ceramics is the balance of form and function. You’ll often see intricate designs with plant or rainbow motifs combined with thoughtful shapes and silhouettes in my work. I am so excited to work with New Art this summer and expand the ceramics community by helping each student discover the joy of working with clay.
Jazmyn Eberts
Hi! I’m Jazmyn, an art teacher from the Adirondacks in Upstate New York. I love hiking, reading, and painting nature, and I’m all about family. I’ve been teaching art for four years and am passionate about helping students discover their creative spark. This summer, I’m thrilled to work with young artists, helping them grow their talents and connect with others who share their passion!
