Katherine Downey Miller is a nationally and internationally exhibiting painter and a dedicated instructor at the New Art Center. With a BS in Painting from Skidmore College and an MFA from SVA’s Illustration as Visual Essay program, her work blends representation and abstraction through expressive brushwork and layered transparencies.
This fall, Katherine is teaching two painting classes at the New Art Center:
•Painting Landscapes to Abstraction in Acrylic (All Levels)- Wednesdays
• Intro to Aqua Oils (Beginner–Introductory) – Tuesdays
