Sara is connected to the New Art Center because the director, Emily O’Neil, was her college roommate, and they’ve been friends for 30 years! Emily asked her to run the Boston Marathon, and she could not refuse. This is Sara’s 5th marathon – all run over the age of 50!

Sara has been connected to the arts for over 20 years and has a passion for street art under the Wooster Collective. With her two daughters, she says she knows how important community art centers are to fostering artistic expression, providing arts education, and connecting the community.
