New Art’s summer Programs for kids and Teens Update:
Week 1 – Kids
Our 2025 Summer season started strong with a week full of fairy tale inspired projects. Working with our clay teacher Gabe, students made fairy houses in clay, using essential ceramic techniques like scratch and attach and glazing. In 3D class with Abby, students worked in cardboard construction, planning and building houses for all types of magical creatures. Jazmyn led our new STEAM class, helping students engineer an escape route for Rapunzel, looking at how gravity and inertia can work together to free the princess from her tower. McCall taught our students how to create their own accordion books for their own original stories. Students learned improv games and put on spectacular plays with the help of Danny.
Week 1 – Teens
Teens learned wheel throwing with Kayla and practiced digital character design using Procreate.
